Sportswear - Keep It Together 7"

With their reputation from the "For The Sake... comp"  already preceding them, no-one were surprised to discover the path they had chosen to continue following on this first seven inch. A band that was mocked in the beginning for being a mere "joke" and rehashing a past and dead style of hardcore, later became the very symbol of pure, rocking, no-bullshit good old hardcore. Some will say that the band heralded a new era of harcore - certainly in Scandinavia. For the more observant of fans there is a whole lot of depth to this record as well. Quotes, references, and subtle nods to a broad spectrum of inspiration. The way Sportswear did things gave them their own clear identity and turned them in to one of the champions of the genre. And as to be expected from an Oslo HC band, the sound and package is truly impeccable
