Freddie Hubbard began his solo career in the 1960s and quickly established himself as a rival to Miles Davis and Donald Byrd. Hub-Tones from 1962 was his fifth album for Blue Note and was created by with the participation of guest musicians such as Herbie Hancock or Reggie Workman. This Blue Note 80 Vinyl Edition is all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
